WEIGHT
Effective with the 2007 season, CYFL has made the following
weight changes:

A 3 pound weight allowance will be added to all grades at the fourth
game of the regular CYFL football season.

RECRUITING
KYO supports CYFL’s “Non Recruiting” efforts in that our program is
a feeder program to King’s Junior High and High School Football
Programs. KYO will make every effort to eliminate any recruiting. It
is the goal of KYO to have parity teams. Team/Coach requests and
non-requests will no longer be accepted. Exceptions will include
siblings, twins and unique situations as presented and approved by
the KYO Board. New players to the system will be selected based
upon drafting procedures as defined by the KYO Board.

DRAFTING
Pending the reason for a draft, guidelines will be determined by the
KYO Board and presented to those teams involved. Selection of
Assistant Coaches (in order to secure their child on a specific team)
will not be allowed through the drafting process.

CREATION OF A NEW TEAM
If registration numbers warrant an additional team at an existing
grade level, the KYO Board will select the head coach based upon
those applications received. Assistant Coaches
will not be
determined until teams have been formed. Drafting procedures will
be determined by the KYO Board based upon each situation.

SELECTION OF COACHES
For those who are interested in coaching, you should notify the
KYO Board for consideration. All candidates will be reviewed and
the final selection will be made by the KYO Board. No assistant
coaches will be selected until such time that teams have been
formed and finalized.
